About this museum

Goriški muzej je pokrajinski splošni muzej. S svojim delovanjem pokriva območje historične Goriške oziroma tisti njen del, ki je danes v Sloveniji. V muzeju, ki upravlja številne zbirke, so zastopane vse muzejske stroke. Ustanovljen je bil leta 1952, od leta 1954 ima prostore na Gradu Kromberk, ki so danes namenjeni razstavam, od leta 2012 ima nov sedež v sklopu Vile Bartolomei v Solkanu.
